In this series, I want to look at moments and situations in which being together, building a community, works well. I started with these musicians in a pub in Ireland, amateurs and professionals, people from different backgrounds who came together to make music. Their connectedness could be heard and felt - the emotional well-being of each individual was clearly visible to me.

The following works were inspired by a choir rehearsal in Bonn. Here, too, a diverse group of people has come together to make wonderful music. This is made possible by each individual’s joy in singing and by their harmonious collaboration.
